Shamir: It always makes me happy to see the NASA logo right there first thing in the morning, as I come in. When I was a kid I had this dream to work for NASA. I would never thought that my dream would come true in Ohio.

After I graduated from University of Puerto Rico, I took a job at Washington DC. Life in DC was very expensive, stressful, go go go, all the time, but then when I learned about this job, electronics engineer and NASA Glenn, in Cleveland, Ohio. I thought okay, I'm moving to Cleveland.

It was very exciting to get the job, but it was not too much information that I have about Ohio. I just want to find out for myself, in Ohio.

I have the best of Worlds, I can keep working in my engineering career at Nasa, and I also can pursue my personal goals.

If I wanted to take a dance class in DC, it was very expensive. It's not only affordability, there's many Outdoors activities to do, feeling more accepted for who I am now.

I see all the benefits of being here. Living in Cleveland had any helped me to build some character I feel like I'm in a constant journey of discovering my passions there's always something new that I learn about myself, and I'm going to keep following my dreams, here in Ohio.
